  • The time slot you book includes set up before the shoot and break down after the shoot, not how long you shoot for. But you're welcome to arrive early and wait in our reception area.

  • A white backdrop is included in the price and charged at £10 per metre soiled. We also have paper backdrops in a range of colours which are charged at £15 each. If you require a specific colour or would like a whole roll ordered, these are available at £70 per backdrop.

  • Yes there are two cubicles on our floor of the building, one male and one female.

    • 7 Days notice = 100% refund

    • 7 Days - 48 hours prior to session start time = 50% refund or free reschedule

    • 48 hours - 24 hours prior to session start time = Reschedule with 50% booking fee

    • 24 hours prior to session start time = No refund or reschedule

  • Yes, we have free WiFi available in all areas of the building and studios. Just ask the staff member at reception for the password

  • Our studios are available Monday – Sunday, 9am-7pm. If you’d like to book outside those hours please get in touch.

  • We have a strict no alcohol rule in our studios due to many pieces of furniture being broken because of this. This a work environment and not a place to hang out with friends. Please respect the rules or you could face being evicted from the studio with no refund.

  • The building doesn’t have dedicated parking as we’re on a main road however there are paid parking spaces along St. Thomas Square or in surrounding streets of the studio that can be paid via phone or the RingGo app. If you need to unload equipment/stock there’s a road to the side of the studio called ‘Silesia Buildings’ where you can stop to unload.

  • If the calendar allows, overtime is charged at between £40 - £80 per hour depending on which studio you’re in and will need to be paid before you leave the premises. Please head to reception and ask a member of staff.

  • Dogs are allowed in the studio but MUST be agreed beforehand and have written consent by Soif Studios. We also charge a £45 cleaning fee if you’d like to bring an animal to the studio.

  • When you arrive at 217 Mare Street, using the intercom ring ‘Soif Studios - Third floor” A staff member will then let you in. For lift access turn left and follow the corridor round to the lift

  • If you leave an item behind we keep it for up to 4 weeks for you to collect, after that the item/s will be disposed of.
